Over a dozen partner-created product demos needed to be given AWS-branded social media promotion, as well as coordinating splash screens for use in the video gallery. They needed to all feel as though they were part of the same system, while not looking identical when viewed in a feed.
As a differentiator, I created brand-approved custom illustrations that represented the specific technical concept featured in each demo. Key to this ask was to ensure the illustrations felt accurate to the function of the product, and that icons were not reused to excess between illustrations. Additionally, each product demo belonged to a larger “group” which also needed a representative illustration for use in email campaigns. These illustrations were used in both static and animated variations.
